This is a fun sun catcher to hang in a window of your home, patio, garden or Christmas tree. The sun catcher was crafted using shades of green glass.
This little guy is a painted turtle. This piece took two firings. One was to make the 1/2 marbles and the turtle on a full fused schedule taking approximately 8 hours for fusing, and another 7 hours for annealing and cooling. Then the piece was fired with the 1/2 marbles tack fused to the shell for the 3D affect. After cooling came the assembling of copper wire and glass bead creating the hanger and legs.
Measures 6 1/2" from hanger to feet X 5" from head to tail.
Can be hung outside, but not in direct gusty winds. Please hang in a protected area. As usual, please hand wash when necessary. This is not intended for children.
