All my art starts by creating a sketch. Once satisfied by the design, the sketch is brought to life by a several step process beginning by selecting the glass, scoring and breaking glass in the required shapes. Then comes the washing, assembling the shapes and firing in the kiln fired on a tack fused schedule to create the 3 dimensional effect.
After firing, glass elements were cemented to the water color painted background, matted and framed in a purchased open frame. This object measures 8 " X 6" glass art measures 2 1/4" H X 3 1/2"W. This frame can be displayed on a table top or hung on a wall.
PLEASE NOTE: THE FRAME IS NOT HAND MADE OR MADE OF WOOD.
Though fused with care and fully annealed, all work is glass and can break under severe cercumstances.
