Hootie the cutie Owl is made in my home studio with hand cut art glass.
This is a fun sun catcher to hang in a window of your home, patio or Christmas tree. The sun catcher was crafted using clear, transparent green,and pink glass. After arranging the hand cut pieces together, it was fired in kiln in my studio on a full fuse schedule. After cooling came the assembling of all the elements of 18 gage wire to craft the hanger and dangling legs. I added a large resin bead at the hanger and glass heart shaped beads for feet.
Measures from top of hanger to branch 7" H, 3 " from wing to wing.
Please hang in a protected area. This is not intended to be exposed to high wind areas. As usual, please hand wash when necessary. This is not intended for children. Even though I fuse with care and fully anneal all work, it is still glass and can break under severe cercumstances.
