As always this piece was hand cut and fused in my studio.
Use this pretty dish in the bathroom for soap or use in you living room with a pillar candle or at your bedside for your watch and rings. This is functional art!
This piece is made with two firings with 26 pieces of glass. Streaky orange colored art glass was cut and arranged on clear art glass and fired in a full fuse schedule. This process took approximately 8 hours. After cooling for an additional 10 hours it was fired again in a slump schedule to give it its graceful curved bowl shaping.
This dish measures 5 3/4" square.
Food safe, but please pamper me and hand wash (I am functional, but still art!)
