This platter was designed and crafted by me in my studio with all pieces hand cut free style using a two step firing. Designing and cutting the glass free form then fusing in a full fuse schedule taking 1 full day for the firing and cooling Once cooled, the flat piece was fired once more in a slumping schedule to create the graceful curved shape. This process taking an additional full work day.
Use this as an art piece if you would like, but I really like to use my art functionally. Serve sushi, appetizers or fruit. Measures 11" X 5 1/4"
